I write children’s fiction for middle years and young adults, sometimes serious stuff and sometimes funny things. I find lots of things hilarious, including selfies!

I live with my family  in central Victoria, Australia, and we share our land with lots of kangaroos. Our place used to be owned by a tomato farmer who used horses to plough his fields so for a long time we dug up all sorts of horse-driven tools, bits of harnesses and loads of horseshoes the size of dinner plates, a bit like the ones in the photo.

I’ve been writing for a long time but I also work full time in another job. Writing is what gives me a special way of looking at the world – it’s a passion that won’t go away.
